These specific cups are made for enjoying a double espresso, an espresso with a dash of brandy, a Macchiato or Turkish coffee. These cups have a good handle for holding, but their narrow base may be the reason they don't rest firmly on the saucer. I cannot serve them one handed and need to be careful when setting them in the saucer that they are exactly in the middle, or they're likely to tip over. I will be looking for another set of cups that are steadier.
It's hard to get excited about espresso cups. These were a pretty good value though.
